Homework

Homework will be sent home on Friday's. It is to be completed and returned by the following Thursday. The assignments will be a reflection of skills we will be practicing each week. You will find a spelling list, 5 sight words, 10 important sentences, 3 spelling pages, and 3 math pages. May vary upon week...

*10 Important Sentences: Please have your child read these sentences every night for homework. They are sentences that align with our reading story for the week. They will help built your child's fluency ability.

* Sight Words: Please practice the sight words with your child nightly. These are all words they should be able to read instantly in 2nd grade. Students will be required to write a sentence for each of the five sight words in their homework packet.

The homework packet is designed for students to have homework for 3 nights a week. But remember they can work at their own pace, as long as the homework is turned in by Thursday. If you have any questions feel free to email me. :)
