We are busy, busy, busy in second grade!
This week in:
Reading- We are reading the informational book, Get Up and Go. A girl's dog keeps track of what she does when she gets up from bed in the morning and how long it takes until she leaves the house. The reading skill we will be focusing on these week is "Author's Purpose".
Spelling- Phonograms -ame, -ake
Grammar- Statements and Questions
Writing- Journal Prompts
Math- Comparing and Ordering Numbers
Social Studies- My Country
Library Schedule: We will continue to have library on Tuesday's along with Orchard. I will let you know when Library is up and running, and students will be able to check out books.
